Dan Pettigrew
Co-Founder and Chief Asset Officer
Dan Pettigrew, Co-Founder and Chief Asset Officer has over 25 years experience in real estate construction. He is a seasoned real estate investor with an expanding portfolio, including multi-family properties. Dan’s work experience began as a young boy who moved cars (yes drove them in the parking lot) at his father’s auto trim shop before he could see over the dashboard of the cars he was moving.
He learned hard work and developed his entrepreneurial spirit that he carries today. After serving the US Marine Corps during the Gulf War, he began his real estate construction career gaining certification as a master electrician, and built an electrical contracting business. He performed and led expansive remodel and build projects in residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
He brought his expertise to bear as he began investing in real estate and quickly realized the power of syndication investments. He began seeking ways to unlock this power for others. Kwetu Advantage Capital partners provides the path for every day investors to grow their portfolios through passive investments in real estate, providing attractive returns and other benefits. Dan’s real estate career has enabled him to be a doting Husband and proud, hands on Father.
Renita Pettigrew
Co-Founder & Chief Information Officer
Renita Pettigrew, Co-Founder & Chief Information Officer brings a proven track record of success as a multi decade leader at a fortune 50 company to Kwetu Advantage. She has led national divisions with teams of 1000+ employees, successfully providing guidance to deploy $5B+ in capital in recent roles.
Her international corporate experience includes leading operational and strategic organizations in tech departments, Human Resources, and customer service. She was selected for various industry awards including Women in Stem Technology All Stars.
She was first exposed to real estate through her father who owned single family rental properties. Through his experience, she learned about the time commitment associated with managing his properties and wondered if there was a better real estate ownership model. Kwetu Advantage connects every day investors to passive real estate investment and ownership opportunities.
Her people first focus and lived experience uniquely position her to simplify the investor experience, leveraging an innovative approach to optimize solutions for other professionals who are seeking to optimize their investment dollars. Renita and her husband enjoy volunteering in their community where they live with their children.
